This article explores the potential of MIT App Inventor® as an accessible tool for digitizing human resource management (HRM), focusing on the development of mobile applications for employee account creation and task registration. By applying a systematic literature review using the PRISMA framework, we initially identified over 500 publications from relevant academic databases. After a rigorous screening and eligibility assessment process, we selected 47 indexed studies that directly address low-/no-code applications in HRM and their impact on operational efficiency and employee satisfaction. Our study analyzes the current gaps in digital HRM tools and proposes a development direction for customized solutions that are easy to implement by organizations with limited resources. The results anticipate an increase in productivity and a reduction in administrative errors by implementing such applications, providing insight into the future of HRM digitization, especially for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
