Abstract
Industry plays an important role in the dynamics of today's economy and contributes to national sustainable development. The application of sustainable methods, tools or business models can contribute to the efficiency of organizational resources. This paper aims to evaluate the production process through the redesign-to-cost method and to identify opportunities to streamline production. Following the research of the specialized literature and the evaluation of the results of a market study, it is proposed to replace the Re-Design-To-Cost method because it requires a greater effort to be implemented, and the replacement will be done with an application or a product simulator, which helps to reduce production costs.
