Abstract
The implementation of dual VET in Romania has been met with great enthusiasm but has equally encountered great implementation difficulties since its official introduction in 2018. This paper is the result of a 2-year extensive research period in Cluj county that targeted all the actors involved in the process of implementation, namely: the private companies, the technical schools and the students. The results of the qualitative and quantitative researches caried out have been centralised in Pareto-style diagrams that put in a nutshell the 20% reasons why 80% of the implementations process has not been met with the success that it was initially predicted.
