Abstract

We are living in an era of economic and technological development, but we also pollute more than ever. The greenhouse gases are a real problem for humankind because we risk producing irreparable damage to our planet. We decide to choose the transportation domain not because is the most harmful for the environment but because we are thinking about the health of the people that are living today in big cities who are forced to breathe polluted air from diesel and gasoline cars. We share the view of those who think electric cars are better for the future because it has zero emissions in using and we hope to show how a good framework for the replacement of thermal motor cars is better for a sustainable development. Thus we analyzed how developed countries on the European continent are handling the problem with greenhouse gases from cars and therefore what Romania cand do better in its strategy for having more electric cars.
